When warmth, darkness and moisture combine, mold growth becomes rapid. It can also be a side effect of water and flood damage to your property.
What Causes the Growth of Mold?
Mold growth is majorly due to moisture. Moisture can occur in house for many reasons but some of the most common reasons are flooding, increased humidity, insufficient ventilation and seepage’s, roof leaks, pipeline leaks, basements, and condensation process.
During the hurricane and rainstorm seasons, mold can be a problem for all property owners. Mold growth occurs in dark and damp places. These places of the house are most vulnerable to mold.
A part of the house which had been damaged by flood or where there are leaking pipes can also be vulnerable to mold growth.
However, in order to minimize the damage done by mold, the property damage needs to be mitigated.
